I had develop for the first time Kodak 400TX, know as Tri-X. I was
wondering about this film, everywhere you can read about it as it is the
same kind of think for street photography like Leica.
I used Paterson Aculux 2 as usually for 9 minutes. The result look very
well. I must say it is very similar to my favorite Fuji Neopan 400 same
look. Only one thing bothers me. Even I wash the film quite long and use
cleaning solution I always use for washing film after fixer, it still kept
his purple color. I used fresh made batch of fixer. Withe Neopan I have
base after cleaning nicely transparent.
I am planning soon start with printing again and than I will see more,
especially grain comparison to Fuji Neopan. But so far it looks good but
not better than my results from Neopan 400 and therefore I am not going to
switch.
