So we hang here waiting for some dust to cover our bodies. Sometimes girl is playing with us, but most of the time we guard this black board.... Normal life what else?

I always wanted to touch the wire. I always want to know for sure if there is a current or not. I did few times as a boy, now when i am adult I am afraid. Or is it because I know now and find it not important anymore to know?

Those slow days, when heat is everywhere and bees flying slowly. In those days I was young boy and enjoyed the freedom of myself. I had time for watching the bees, time for lying on grass.

After few hours of painting, she took her chair and box with paints and walked away. "I saw it all", she said, moving further away when interesting shadows one could see. I watch her moving and was thinking how seriously she said that. I love it!

Recently when making print for one order I realize that if somebody comes here on my web and realize I am selling prints from my photographs he can't find a image of real print. How does it actually look before I pack it. So here is a few shots (BTW: the green casts is caused by my PDA camera I used to make these snapshots, sorry for that, but I do not have any D-SLR, but you can support me by buying prints from me and I can buy Nikon D3 ;-))
But enough talking here are the snaps:

Walking in fields I have found fence build from wood. On certain places, where maybe gate use to be, these kind of old iron were used. In hot summer Sun they were very warm and smell like old machines use to smell.

I found this trunk.org pages just by accident when reading some other art blogs. And than I start browsing around and found portfolio. I took this image out of it. It feels so good when looking at it. Well you may look for your self further.

My friend has taped and made little movie day before and at the day of my photo exhibition. Here is it. It still needs some editing, but if you like you can watch it, little bit more than 10min.
It is played in flash player so you need to have it installed. Tell me how is your experience with this kind of movie watching. I may produce more videos on certain topics if there is good feedback. I do not use YouTube or any other streaming servers. Maybe I should, but as first attempt I just did it on my server.

It was in one hot day, I was taking images, Ema was painting trees and David in shade of one, he was reading book. Sun was lazy, time? There was no time... It was great day until clouds come and we had to run in first drops of rain under the dark clouds which were suddenly all over the sky.

Today morning I woke up early for Sunday. I went out with attempt to find some depressive gray places with leafless trees. All was turning a bit different, first I came to place I always wanted to go. Very nice, maybe too nice with small water channels, green meadows with sheep. First I was driving small roads than I parked car and walked. Sun was still behind horizon. And nothing really inspired me. Until I have found one place with a lot of trees together hanging over the water. I made few shots and than walked further. I met two mans with dogs and asked them for directions.
Well but as the sun goes all start looking very bright and positive, I was not in plan to make any calendar like perfect pictures. So I stopped myself few times from taking a shot and my moo went really down.
I stepped in car with decision that today is too nice day for depressive images. As I was slowly driving through the fields I really had to stop two or three times and took few shots of that beauty. I just can't resisted anymore. On my way back, while driving through the village I noticed even nicer willow trees and those with fogged field in background and water in front. Beaming sun on horizon finally give me that kick and I said yes this is it. The right mix of good light and depressive mood. So I spend few rolls over there. I plan to develop them tonight, it may even happen, who knows...

Do you still remember, some time ago I told you that my photo was used on book cover. They asked me for some other photos for publicity and they created following nice movie. Some images use din it are mine, some not. But I like how it is done.

So I have developed these five rolls I have exposed today adn one old. I will be doing it this week more often as I have discover some 30 rolls undeveloped from summer ;-)
It felt good, even tired at Sunday night. And now let's take some rest and tomorrow is Monday...

Another version of the summer meadow.

So I have end my eBay journey. I have closed eBay store yesterday. It was a good experience and I have found out that eBay is not the right place for me. I sold quite some pieces, but also spend a lot of money there running a eBay store. So for now you can buy my prints here if you like. And I have again plans for some changes especially I have scanned yesterday roles I exposed Sunday morning and developed Sunday evening. I feel it...

Walking at the edge of the channel, close to the trees. Watching out for the dark places, under the shade of moon. I am here alone or will be soon...

Yesterday I published image I made Sunday. It is dark image of willow trees in front of small water channel. It is from one roll and hopefully if I survive today (I am rather tired) I will end some more.
There are two versions of this image. The primary and my favorite and this one. I would like to know your view on it and please calibrate your screen a bit ;-) The original is not really that dark.

"Cinquecento" may also refer to the earlier Fiat 500 or the modern Fiat Nuova 500 as seen in Piazza San Carlo,Turin (Torino) this year summer (2007).

Yesterday, even rather tired, I have developed next six rolls of films. It is really nice to come back to this kind of activity. And I love to see the film hanging after taken from development tank. I like to cleanup my box with undeveloped rolls, so I can start soon with new things.

It is rather cold for few days. Dry and cold. I am again getting that mood I love, mood I remember to had every snowy winter days from my age of eight or so. I think I will create small series about that feel. If I would have time. We leave country for holiday and program is rather busy but I love to find time for myself to freeze in fields with all the quiet mood around.

I made some changes to layouts and number of images showed in thumbnail previous. I hope I didn't break anything. If you happen to come by such a place, please let me know. I will fix it right a way.
Especially I have change a way of displaying photos in galleries.

I have this feeling already for some time. I often look on Internet pages of other photo bloggers or photographers. Very often I am attracted by single or maybe two images. And than seeing more I juts go away after five almost always. It is really exceptional, happen maybe once a month, I stay and look for more.
I was looking for a reason why is that. I am certain I know why. There is not continuity in work. In sense of quality and also in sense of theme. It is like with music, if one CD contains extreme diversity of quality and even style it feels like compilation on some, maybe nice, but still isolated pieces which doesn't create any feeling. Just opposite it creates a chaos and it is disturbing to the listener.

Therefore I decided to remade my site in the way that i will edit images I have here. I will group them to small theme projects which creates same feeling and construct a single body. Something I started on my second web page www.richard-vanek.eu already. In this way I hope to create something which will appeal to visitor fr more than isolated images with chaotic presentation.
BTW: I see it also on statistics of my pages. The project area is visited far more than gallery area. I would appreciate your comments to this, for me rather long post. Thank you in advance for your time.

Now few days at our holiday in Slovakia. Time is nice, cold sunny days, visiting families and friends. Finaly I have got time for sleep. And it feels very refreshing.
This time I decided to not take my camera with me and only spend time to enjoy. Talk to you later...
