Notes from 23rd Jun 2004
[posted at 10:00 GMT]

I have scanned part of the first roll I exposed Sunday with OM-2sp. Only part because I am again having little problem with scanner on winXP so it takes longer time to scan and I went in bed early yesterday.
But back to spot metering. There is one shot (maybe I put it on last roll, together with some other shots with spot meter soon), where forest is on left side than small beach going down to lake. Sun was directly burning on beach but shades in forest where almost dark. So I measure dark forest and close lens by to stops to move it to zone III. And than I exposed.
Result: There is a plenty details in forest and it is not dark at all, looks like street exposed in overcast day. On the other hand beach is quite burned there are details but very little and of course on sky nothing even I remember there where some clouds. So Does that mean that I have to go three stops down? Or rate my film one stop more sensitive for development process I did. Probably yes. I will do more test shots like this when weather allows.
