Notes from 17th Jun 2004

All is done. I helped myself. I am now running CFS from MIS with their last carbon pigment inks name UT2 on my Epson photo 890. They describe in installation guide it will take about 30minutes. Well I am quite precise and I was doing it first time, took me about two hours. But slow work paid off. I had no problem and after little head cleaning I am just printing my first print.

Little problem with too long bridge bracket for holding tubes over the printer head I solved by cutting piece of plastic. It was easy and fast. On the rest of installation there where small hiccups. Like manual was bind together wrongly so suddenly there was a page six instead of four and than four was after. Also Velcro mounts were only for four bottles but I order for six ink printer. All small problems but together with not responding customer service of MIS I got little bad feeling. Only little because I am buying from them all my printing stuff for more than two years and never had a problem. Or if I had it was solved in few hours. This time, I do not know, was that holiday problem or Friday production?
Anyway I am glad it is working and I hope it will stay working for quite some time.
